On a recent tour one of our guides recounted how much he learned about an area simply by stopping and talking to the locals. Dubliners are proud of their city and they like to tell you about stories of events that you are never likely to read in book of google!. That’s the lovely thing about walking around the city. People have time to stop and talk to you, especially the older people who have the folklore of the area. All may not have read Joyce, Beckett or Wilde but you can be sure these three greats wrote about them!. Even Molly Malone has her own stories of all the characters who passed her way over the years.
